Description of Enhancement I would like each Community (acquisitions, record manager, collection manager, etc.) to have 3 links consistently at the top of the "Popular Links" list in the right-hand column.  Those links should be Release Notes Known Issues Roadmap Issues Enhancement Will Resolve There are some Communities that do not list all 3 links. This can make the infomation I want more difficult to find. It would save time if I could go to any Community and know those 3 links are available to me immediately and always in the same place. Description of Enhancement I greatly appreciate the search tool in Community Center which allows me to search keywords and find discussions, enhancement requests, etc.  Currently, the title and brief description are included for each result. I would like the result list to also include the date of the original post/submission.  Depending on my question, I may not want to see results from 3 years ago. Description of Enhancement I greatly appreciate the new options for exploring enhancement requests. Being able to limit by product and status are very helpful. Description of Enhancement Enable the log in screen to remember what link was trying to be accessed and direct the user there after they have logged in, instead of always directing them to the WorldShare home page. Issues Enhancement Will Resolve If I am not already logged in to my WorldShare/Community Center account when clicking on a link (from an email or from the OCLC website), the sign in screen redirects me to the WorldShare home page no matter what the link was pointing to. This means I cannot access links from emails with a single click, which is just enough of a hassle to discourage clicking through unless I'm very interested in the topic. Description of Enhancement When OCLC works on the implementation of an enhancement request, the product team or developer should ask the original submitter of the request for feedback on the proposed implementation. This will make sure the chosen approach actually solves the original problem that prompted the request. It would be even better to post the proposed solution as a reply to the original request, so other users can also comment. Quite often other people support a request and those people may have an opinion about the proposed implementation as well. Issues Enhancement Will Resolve Enhancement requests can be tricky to interpret. This can be because the request itself is not clearly defined, or because the product team or a developer think they know what is meant and how to program the feature. This can lead to OCLC thinking it solved a request, but the submitter being disappointed in the way it has been implemented. If OCLC were to contact the submitter and explain how developers plan to build the solution, this might be helpful. As an example, two requests that have been closed because OCLC thinks an implemented feature (Search by role in Admin) solved an issue (a report of roles). Description of Enhancement They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This holds true for explaining some enhancement requests. We would like to be able to insert an image into the text of the enhancement in both the "description" and "problem" fields. Description of Enhancement Change the Product category/name "Analytics" in the Enhancements OCLC Product or WS Module tagging option to "Report Designer" or "Reports" so that it matches the common manner in which OCLC and it's customers discuss the product. Issues Enhancement Will Resolve To my knowledge, no one in OCLC or among it's customers is familiar with an "Analytics" product by that name in the pantheon of OCLC products. Analytics seems to mean WMS Report Designer. As such, when I have looked to tag an enhancement, I was unable to find "Report Designer" as a product to tag. I only accidentally discovered recently, that the product tag for enhancements is "Analytics" so my enhancement went to the "Other" category which might have just as well gone to a black hole (possibly like this one will with out a Community Center product enhamcement category.) Description of Enhancement I would like more sorting options for the enhancement requests within the Community Center. The ability to sort by popularity (requests that have the most stars or requests that have the most comments) would be really useful. Issues Enhancement Will Resolve It would more easily allow community members to find and vote for popular enhancement requests that have already been put in. It might also encourage more participation in the Community Center by making voting for popular requests a really quick and easy process. It would also allow community members to quickly view what hasn't been voted for yet and encourage them to vote if it's an enhancement they really want. Current Workaround No workaround. Currently the enhancement requests are only sorted by date or you can search by keyword. Users have to manually go through every enhancement request (in discovery there are over 300) and click into individual requests to see if there are any other user comments and ratings.  ... Description of Enhancement Allow searches across all sections of the OCLC Community Center, not just the current module. Issues Enhancement Will Resolve Currently, if you want to search for a topic that may be discussed in multiple forums, you must repeat that search in each of the forums. By having a cross-forum search function, users could do one search to find all the posts related to that search, no matter which forum has them. As an example, I've been searching the topic of Inventory, and how people are making use of it (or not). Inventory can easily be part of Circulation, Collection or Record Management, Discovery, ILL, and more. Having to search each forum is clunky and ineffective. Description of Enhancement Publish Release Notes either prior to or concurrent with any product upgrade or enhancement release. Issues Enhancement Will Resolve There have been times that a product upgrade or enhancement release has been completed with no release notes, causing some confusion about how the release affects the systems. An example would be the recent enhancement to the WMS Patron data, which combined the Circulation and IDM expiration dates. Without any release notes, I was left to my own devices to try to figure out how to deal with this change. This affected my workflows, and I needed to find a solution. Luckily in this case I was able to find a solution with the help of the Community Center members, but it could be much different in future situations.
