Thank you for the suggestion. We are excited to share that this feature is now available in the new OCLC Community Center. Community members can now subscribe for email updates when new ideas are posted, when fellow community members post replies or vote, and when OCLC updates an Idea's status. Community members can also subscribe to individual Ideas to receive updates for just the community ideas that are most important to them.

Description of Enhancement


Please add a 'subscribe' option to the Enhancement Suggestions list.


Issues Enhancement Will Resolve


Many very useful suggestions are submitted here, the subscription option would help prevent good ideas from going by unnoticed. And also save our community the trouble of reminding itself to look into the list now and then to see if there's anything new.


Current Workaround


You could enter a recurring appoinment in your calendar.

Yes, please. Unless people announce that they have posted an enhancement request to a listserv like KB-L, it is very difficult to browse or search for things on the website itself. There may be something here you didn't even know to look for!

This is a good idea. Even more important in my opinion is better organization of the enhancements that are already here -- such as clustering requests with very similar ideas, as well as some kind of format change to something other than a giant list that just keeps getting added to.

Yes. Please! This would help to bring enhancements to my attention, and improve participation. It takes significant time to come to the Community Center to peruse these for ones I have missed or new ones.

Share Enhancement suggestions from users by email to other users (as Discussion/Forum entries are.)


Issues Enhancement Will Resolve


It would facilitate users awareness of what enhancements have been submitted, allowing us to provide feedback more promptly & easily.

I also agree! With my job as the liaison to all of my college's technical issues, this would help me keep abreast of the new suggestions as they happen to keep the rest of the staff better informed. :)
