The print version of the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system is updated annually to reflect changes to the DDC and provides comprehensive coverage across topics.
What's new for 2026?
- Streamlined Manual instructions on the use of T1—068 Management; not unlike the previous year’s update to T1—025, many things are called “management”, and we’ve provided guidance on when it’s appropriate to add the standard subdivision.
- A new development for Orthodox Christian liturgy, paralleling those for Roman Catholic and Anglican churches.
- Revised, updated coverage of naval ships and astronautics.
- Updated and expanded numbers for the history of the Arabian Peninsula, both in the context of general history and of early Islam.
