Ability to Sort Enhancements by Popularity

Description of Enhancement

I would like more sorting options for the enhancement requests within the Community Center. The ability to sort by popularity (requests that have the most stars or requests that have the most comments) would be really useful.

Issues Enhancement Will Resolve

It would more easily allow community members to find and vote for popular enhancement requests that have already been put in. It might also encourage more participation in the Community Center by making voting for popular requests a really quick and easy process. It would also allow community members to quickly view what hasn't been voted for yet and encourage them to vote if it's an enhancement they really want.

Current Workaround

No workaround. Currently the enhancement requests are only sorted by date or you can search by keyword. Users have to manually go through every enhancement request (in discovery there are over 300) and click into individual requests to see if there are any other user comments and ratings.

That this is necessary is ridiculous, but being able to search enhancements before creating an enhancement would be helpful.

Yes, please! I love using the Community Center, but it's definitely an issue to search for Enhancements to comment on. This would assist us greatly in participating in the community!

It would be more accurate if Share Enhancement submissions by email *  Subscribe option for Enhancement Suggestions * were enacted so people knew what was available to 'vote' on.

I'm in favour of improved options for searching enhancements but popularity is not one I can currently think of a reason to use. (Perhaps owing to a contrary nature.) I would tend to browse by date rather than popularity or search directly for a specific enhancement to vote for it and rating would not impact that. It would be interesting to note how multiple votes from a single organisation change the rating (I think it is accounted for). If this becomes an option, I would not want it to be a default as it would hide useful enhancements. I do like the suggestion above to indicate when you've already voted for an enhancement as that can be hard to track down through a long list of votes.

Thank you for the suggestion. This feature is now available in the Community Center. Community members now have the ability to sort the list by the most popular ideas based on community feedback. There is also the option to sort by ideas that have most recently received the most attention from the community. We appreciate your feedback!
